Milwaukee Bucks at Atlanta Hawks Betting Pick

NBA Previews

The 2020-21 NBA regular season is winding down, and playoff races are heating up in each conference. The Milwaukee Bucks travel to Atlanta for a matchup with the Hawks in what amounts to a big game for each team.

Milwaukee has a commanding lead in the Central Division, but they are playing for conference seeding. The Bucks have gone 5-2 in their last seven games, and they come into this one with a 37-22 record.

Atlanta is leading the Southeast Division by 1.5 games over the Miami Heat, and they are trying to hold on for dear life. The Hawks have gone 6-2 in their last eight games, but they can’t afford any losses as they try to close this out.

The Milwaukee Bucks are 6.5-point favorites over the Atlanta Hawks in this Eastern Conference showdown.

Milwaukee Making Shots

The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the best shooting teams in the NBA, and they are nearly impossible to stop when making shots. The Bucks lead the league with 119.6 points per game, and those points come in a hurry.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is making a strong case to win another MVP award this season, but he might fall just short. The “Greek Freak” leads this team with 28.4 points and six assists per game and is always looking to take over.

Milwaukee does have some issues on the defensive end of the floor, and that has hurt them in recent playoff runs. The Bucks will need to be solid on that end on Sunday.

Young Guiding Hawks Offense

The Atlanta Hawks have not been as explosive as the Milwaukee Bucks, but they do have the ability to go off for a big game. Trae Young is having a monster season for Atlanta, and he finally has enough help to be competitive.

Young leads the way with 25.3 points and 9.6 assists per game and has been difficult for opponents to stop all season long. The Hawks are shooting better than 37 percent from the three-point line, and they have a number of terrific shooters on the floor.

Atlanta does have a big edge on the defensive end of the floor as they are allowing just 110 points per game this season.

Bucks Survive in Atlanta

Milwaukee looks poised and ready to make a deep run through the NBA Playoffs, and few teams have been able to slow them down. The Bucks can score on anyone, and this will be another huge game for Antetokounpo.

The Hawks do have the ability to compete with anyone in the league, especially when Trae Young is shooting it well. Look for this to be the case on Sunday, as the home team is going to keep this one close.

Atlanta is going to give Milwaukee all it can handle in this one, but the Bucks will have just enough to sneak past the Hawks. Bet the Milwaukee Bucks money line over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
