2021 Quaker State Betting Preview/Prop Play
The next NASCAR race heads to Atlanta for the Quaker State 400. There are a handful of drivers casted as favorites, but anything is possible in this next event.
Recent performances could very well factor into driving performances here. However, drivers that typically drive well in Atlanta usually come back and perform well again the next time around.
Date: Sun, Jul 11, 2:30 PM
Watch on: NBCS
Track: Atlanta Motor Speedway
NASCAR heads back to a fan favorite racetrack in which anyone is able to win here. The last favorites have all taken this track by storm, and this time around should be no different.
Each driver that enters will have their previous resume behind them and help them carry some momentum coming in. Think of drivers such as Chase Elliot, Christopher Bell, and even Kyle Larson.
Head to Head Matchup to Watch
Chase Elliot (126.349) and Christopher Bell (135.520) make a great duo to watch. Although Bell might not have the same outcome as Elliot, he came in second in the last race where he was casted as a moderate underdog and is someone to watch shake up the leaderboard.

Drivers That Could Win
Kyle Larson (129.597) has had some unfortunate incidents occur in races lately. These include crashing into teammate Alex Bowman and then having a blown tire. He is definitely one to keep an eye one, especially after placing second here in March.
Kyle Busch (124.027) is arguably the best driver heading into this specific race. He has driven well in Atlanta and appears to have another great opportunity. He is starting second on pole position, which could play into his success here.
Chase Elliott (126.349) has finally started to look like his previous 2020 version of himself, with another victory in the last race. He has driven well in Atlanta in the last, but can he secure a second straight victory and capture one in a competitive Atlanta?
Potential Winning Pick
Denny Hamlin (132.211) has been able to lead in 694 laps this year, which is astounding compared to the field. This is a top-five candidate driving on an interesting year where no one has asserted much dominance yet.
Some drivers have broken out of the cycle and taken wins by storm in random events. It is time for Hamlin to do the same and claim a victory back in Atlanta. Look for him to place top five and hopefully break out of his slump.
Top 5 Finish: Kyle Busch (+100)
We took Busch at this same price last week at Road America and were rewarded with a 3rd-place finish. It’s been part of a hot stretch for the two-time Cup Series winner as he picked up a 1st and 2nd in the Pocono races and a pair of 3rds at Charlotte and Darlington.
Busch took a 5th at Atlanta earlier this year and finished 2nd here last year. He knows how to win as well, taking the checkered flag in 2013 and 2008.
Busch’s surge up the Cup standings (he’s currently 4th) has been impressive and he comes into the race ranked No. 1 in the Dunkel Index. We’ll take him again (+100) to finish in the Top 5 this weekend.
